Welcome to my world on the web…
The Persian cat is recognized the world over with its sweet face and long and glossy coat of hair making it one of the most popular felines. Their fluffy coat hides a strong and muscular body on their short legs.
The Persian cat is found in a wide variety of coat colors with differing characteristics as well. They have been categorized into different groups with some having more value in the eyes of cat lovers than others.
Some of the exotic varieties of the Persian cat are as follows:
The spectacular white is perhaps the most popular variety of this exotic cat. Solid colored Persians are greatly valued. The long white hair along with pink nose leather and paw pads give the white Persian a majestic appearance.
Coupled with its deep blue or copper colored set of eyes the white Persian tops the solid color division list as the most exotic Persian cat.
Another solid colored beauty is the rich chocolate brown version of the Persian cat. With its deep brown chin and lips and contrasting red leather on the nose and paws this cat is truly a awe inspiring ball of color.
Silver & Golden Persian Cats
The most beautiful silver colored version is the Chinchilla silver Persian cat. The pure white undercoat is beautifully offset by the black paint on the back, head, tail and flanks.
This color combination makes the Persian cat luminous and shiny like silver. The Chinchilla silver Persian has lovely white ear tufts, chin, chest and stomach while the rims off its eyes, lips and nose are outlined with solid black.
Shaded & Smoke Persian Cats
Of the smoky version, the red Chinchilla or the shell cameo is an extremely popular variety of the Persian cat. It has a beautiful white undercoat topped off with red tips on the tail, flanks, head and back.
The sweet face and small legs have slightly red tipped hair which makes the Persian cat stand out among the crowd.
Tortoise Shell Persian Cats
Another kind of Persian cat gets its name from the shades of black and red tipped hair that covers its white undercoat, and is named the tortoiseshell Persian.
This beautiful combination has increased the popularity of the tortoiseshell Persian cat.
Tabby Division Color Persians
Similar to the Tabby cat this Persian cat has the markings which are clearly defined and narrow pencil strokes that move up in a pattern of rings on its legs and goes all the way across the body.
The front of its head has an M like shape on its forehead and two lines running parallel from its eyes all the way down the spine making it one of the top varieties of exotic Persian cats.
